We don't sell miracles we sell routines. And if something doesn't work for your skin, we'll help you sort it out. This policy explains exactly how.
1. Our Promise to You
Skincare only works when you stick to it. But we understand that not every product suits every skin especially as your skin adjusts to a new routine. If something isn't right, reach out. We'll help you adjust your routine before defaulting to a return.
2. Return Window
- Standard Return Period: 7 days from the date of delivery
- Eligibility: Unopened, unused products in original packaging only
- Exceptions: Products opened or partially used are not eligible for return unless they have caused an adverse skin reaction (see Section 5)
3. Eligible Reasons for Return
- You received a damaged or defective product
- You received the wrong product or order
- The product is unopened and you changed your mind within 7 days of delivery
- You experienced an adverse skin reaction (with documentation see Section 5)
4. What We Do Not Accept
- Opened or used products (unless an adverse reaction is reported)
- Returns requested after 7 days of delivery
- Products not purchased directly from xyessentials.com
- Products damaged due to misuse or improper storage
5. Adverse Skin Reactions
Skincare, by nature, involves skin and skin varies. If you experience irritation or an unexpected reaction, do the following:
- Stop using the product immediately
- Consult a dermatologist if the reaction is severe
- Contact us at info@xyessentials.com with a description and photos of the reaction
We review all adverse reaction cases individually. Where verified, we will offer a full refund or replacement even for opened products. Please conduct a patch test before first use (apply a small amount on the inner arm, observe for 24 hours).
6. How to Initiate a Return
Step 1 — Email info@xyessentials.com with your order number and reason for return
Step 2 — Our team will respond within 48 business hours with instructions
Step 3 — Ship the product back in its original packaging
Step 4 — Once received and inspected, we will process your refund or replacement within 5–7 business days
7. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed to your original payment method.
- 5–7 business days for processing
- Additional 3–5 business days for reflection
COD refunds will be processed to a bank account provided by you.
8. Exchanges
We currently do not offer direct product exchanges. Please initiate a return and place a new order.
9. Orders & Cancellations
- Cancellation Window: Within 12 hours
- After dispatch: Cannot be cancelled
10. Glass Packaging — Handle with Care
XY Essentials uses glass packaging for better product integrity and recyclability.
If your product arrives damaged, contact us within 24 hours with photos.
